The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all transactions have been accounted for accurately and on time and help lighten or lessen the workload. A successful Accounting Coordinator must have excellent attention to detail, verbal, and written communication skills along with computer literacy. The ability to manage various workload volumes is also essential, as that might fluctuate daily.

Job Duties:


• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.

• Process credit card charges.

• Process reimbursement forms.

• Enter financial transactions into internal databases.

• Check spreadsheets for accuracy.

• Maintain digital and physical financial records.

• Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

• Assisting clients and companies with their financial and income tax statements.

• Researching, studying and interpreting tax law.

• Preparing payments, identifying tax savings, and analyzing tax issues.

• Preparing and filing accurate tax returns that meet all legal standards.

• Using knowledge of tax law to help clients increase savings and avoid penalties.

• Advising management on the tax impact of various corporate strategies.

• Preparing tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintaining a company’s tax database.

• Finding tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.

• Identifying legal tax savings and recommending ways to improve profits.


Qualifications


• Work experience as an Accounting Coordinator.

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.

• Familiarity with finance regulations.

• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.

• Hands-on experience QuickBooks with MS Excel, Accounting software, SmartSheets.

• Organization skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional manner and a strong ethical code.

• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
