The Draftsman is responsible for producing accurate, detailed technical drawings to support Commercial Real Estate development, construction, space planning, and engineering activities. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to translate conceptual designs, field data, and engineering inputs into clear, code-compliant drawings.
• Create, update, and maintain detailed drawings, site plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents for commercial real estate projects.
• Convert conceptual sketches, specifications, and field notes into complete and accurate AutoCAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, zoning requirements, and internal standards.
• Collaborate with architectural, engineering, and project teams.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, or managers.
• Assist with space planning layouts and field verification when required.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or drafting certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years drafting experience in commercial real estate, architectural, or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and construction terminology.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
• Knowledge of construction drawings, layering standards, and dimensioning.
• Familiarity with commercial building components and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Revit or Bluebeam a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
• Problem‑solving and independent work skills.
